More options leads to harder decisions

Apple, the computer company, makes it easy for customers to make a decision since they only have limited options. The more choices a person has, the more confused they will be at making a decision. The brain will attempt to compare too many options, which will ultimately make a person indecisive. Fewer or just one option, the faster the decision.

Apple uses this tactic by having a limited line of products, whereas other brands have hundreds of options which only confuses people. Whenever you are building an application or designing a product, it’s better if you limit the choices so people are forced to make a decision
