Skeuomorphism

Users adapt more easily to things that look like real-world objects

Skeuomorphism is a design technique that uses pre-existing design cues to communicate the purpose of an object. In the context of digital design, skeuomorphic design borrows cues from the physical world to help users understand and interact with digital content.

While skeuomorphic design has largely fallen out of favor in recent years, it was once a very popular design style. Many of the most popular iOS apps from the early days of the App Store used skeuomorphic design, including Calendar, Contacts, Notes, and Reminders.

However, you can still use this in marketing and for products by building them to look like things in nature, so people associate it with objects in real life.
